Drysuits were traditionally tough and heave and offered a lot of protection. Over the past 20 years suits have become lighter and more flexible; RBX marks a return to the traditional drysuit, bomb-proof, heavy-weight neoprene, but providing modern-day levels of comfort and movement for the diver.
The suit is noticeably heavier than comparable drysuits - using dual-density gas-blown neoprene means that RBX can provide the toughness of a suit twice its thickness without the bulk. The weight remains but the neoprene thickness doesn't - wearing RBX provides what many divers have been searching for.
Whilst an excellent choice for the sport diver; the advantages to technical and commercial divers is very apparent. With the toughness and durability, comfort and ease of use, RBX is very much a case of the traditional meeting the contemporary.
