Measurement Form

In order to ensure a perfect fit and years of trouble free service, we have produced a step by step guide describing the correct procedure to measure for a drysuit. This form is for use by those who have ordered, or are about to order a suit from us.

Please do not measure yourself, enlist the help of a second person to do it for you, as accuracy is essential for a good fitting suit.

Measurements can be made in either imperial or metric sizes and must be made over the undersuit you intend to wear.

My measurements are:

Imperial

1: Neck - taken over bare skin just below Adam's Apple.

2: Wrist - taken over bare skin behind wristbone.

3: Chest - taken around fullest part.

4: Waist - taken round a relaxed waist (Gents, be honest please!).

5: Hips - taken over fullest part of backside (Ladies, no cheating please!).

6: All round body - taken from hollow in front of neck through legs, with SPX pulled up tight in crotch, (unhook elastic stirrups of SPX Undersuit), to base of neck.

7: Base of neck to wristbone.

8: Forearm - taken round fullest part with finger inside tape.

9: Bicep - taken round fullest part with finger inside tape.

10: Crotch to ankle bone - with undersuit pulled up tight in crotch, (unhook elastic stirrups of SPX Undersuit).

11: Crotch to floor - with undersuit pulled up tight in crotch, (unhook elastic stirrups of SPX Undersuit).

12: Thigh - taken round fullest part with finger inside tape.

13: Calf - taken round fullest part with finger inside tape.

14: Side ankle bone to centre of kneecap.

15: Height - to be measured against a wall, please do not guess. It is essential for a good fitting suit that your height is measured without shoes and measured accurately. Please insert height in metric in cm (ie, not 1.5m but 150cm) and imperial in inches, (ie, not 5' 6" but 62 inches).

16: Weight - to be taken on accurate scales in the SPX undersuit. It is essential that this is accurate for a good fitting suit.

17: Actual shoe size - not trainer sizes please. Ask your dealer or distributor to allow you to try the range of sample drysuit boots available in sizes 3 - 13 / 36 - 47. If you have a problem please contact us.

18: Head circumference.

19: All round head - top of head, round chin to top of head.

Additional Ladies measurements:

20: Chest - to be taken over fullest part of bust.

21: Chest above bust - with tape under arm pits.

22: Under bust.

23: Top of shoulder to centre of bust.

Is the suit for commercial use? If 'Yes' the suit will be cut for a generous fit, approximately one size larger. If 'No' the suit will give you a sport drysuit fit which is close fitting to the lower chest and a slightly more generous cut in upper body and arms for ease of movement.
